【H-221】 Pure Silk Tasuki - Standard Size 正絹 たすき 通常尺 襷 絹 白 シルク 弓道 弓具
A tasuki is an essential accessory when wearing a kimono.
This one is made of pure silk, making it lightweight, smooth, and flexible, with a subtle sheen.
Its simple white design makes it easy to pair with a wide range of kimono styles.
Care Instructions:
Note: Machine washing is not recommended, as it may damage the fabric. We recommend hand washing for best care.
How to Wash:
1. Prepare lukewarm water (around 20°C / 68°F) in a basin and dissolve a mild detergent.
2. Gently move the tasuki back and forth in the water, as if letting it swim.
For stained areas, lightly tap with a soft sponge.
Tip: The key to washing silk without damage is to wash and rinse quickly and gently. Avoid soaking for long periods, as this can weaken the fabric.
3. Fill the basin with fresh lukewarm water and rinse the tasuki the same way—gently swaying it in the water.
Change the water about three times to fully rinse out the detergent.
4. Since silk is sensitive to friction, do not wring or twist the fabric.
Simply press gently to remove excess water.
5. Hang to dry in a shaded, well-ventilated area—away from direct sunlight.
Due to the nature of sewn products, please note that the finished size and stitching position may vary slightly from item to item.
