Returns and Faulty Items

Return policy Returns are limited to unopened, unused products only within 7 days of delivery of the package.
We cannot accept returns or exchanges of yumi or yugake that have been used, or that show signs of usage.
We cannot accept returns or exchanges of arrows that have been cut and fitted with the yajiri (arrow tip).
Beginners should consult with their kyudo instructor before making these purchases.
We cannot accept return or exchange of a hakama that has had the manufacturer threads removed.
Please be sure to confirm the length of the hakama before removing these threads.


Returns at the customer's convenience

If requested, we can refund the cost of the returned items via bank transfer.
However the customer will be responsible for all of the transfer fees deducted from the amount of the refund.
These fees include:
- Bank transfer fees charged by the bank in Japan for initiating the transfer
- Bank transfer fees charged by the accepting bank abroad

Because the banks will remove their fees from the amount transferred, the amount of money ultimately deposited in the customer's account will differ than the amount of the refund.
In the event that the amount of the refund is small, these fees can sometimes be more expensive than the refund itself.
In that case, we recommend the following options:
- Retain the refund as a credit towards a future order at our store
- Choose a different, comparably priced item to replace the item returned.
Return Shipping Costs For returns made at the convenience of the customer, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
However, if a return is made due to faulty or mistaken items, then we will refund the customer for return shipping costs.
Faulty Items Please contact us immediately about receiving a replacement item.
If we do not have stock, we will contact you about making a suitable replacement or cancelation of the item.
Please contact us within 7 days of receiving your package about any faulty items.
If contact is received beyond the 7 day period, we may not be able to accommodate the request for return or exchange.
