Arrow Nocking Position Checker

This T-shaped ruler is an improved version of the previous wooden model. It is designed to help check the arrow nocking position and the height of the bow grip (Yahaba).

【Check the Arrow Nocking Position】
Designed to help position the arrow perpendicular to the bowstring. It allows you to accurately check the nocking position and adjust the arrow so that it is at a right angle to the string.
When shooting in the seated position (Zasha), with the bow held upright in front of the body and the string aligned with the bridge of the nose, the arrow should be parallel to the ground. Checking the nocking position with this ruler can help maintain a proper and aesthetically pleasing shooting posture.

【Check the Bow Grip Height】
The bow grip height refers to the distance from the grip area of the bow to the bowstring. This ruler is designed based on the concept of measuring this height from the bow side.
Place the long end of the T-shaped ruler against the bow and use the graduations to check the distance to the string.

【Also Useful for Checking a Bamboo Bow】
The end of the long section of the T-shaped ruler has a flat surface. Using the same measuring method as for checking the bow grip height, it can also be used to check the reverse curvature of a bamboo bow and the distance between the side plate (Sekita) and the bowstring.
